MTD has moved on. So have we.
MTD for VAT has applied since 2019, the VAT registration threshold is now £90,000, and from April 2026 MTD for Income Tax brings quarterly digital reporting to sole traders and landlords.
Our Business Services team has invested in training and partnered with software providers to get you compliant, whether you use accounting software, spreadsheets or paper records today.

Sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 now keep digital records and send quarterly updates, with lower thresholds following in 2027 and 2028.
