Accounting StaffQualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience

We are seeking to recruit qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accounting staff, particularly with accountancy practice experience. You will report to the directors of the practice and there will be opportunities for career progression.

Key skills

  • All control and reconciliation work
  • Preparation of accounts to at least trial balance level
  • Knowledge of Sage or other computerised accounts preparation packages
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Ability to liaise with clients on job completion matters
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines and prioritise effectively
BookkeeperFull time, Glenrothes office

We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper to work in our Glenrothes office. Duties include reconciling banks and other main nominal accounts quickly and accurately, supporting clients from a bookkeeping perspective, preparing VAT returns and preparing accounting records to at least trial balance level.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent communication skills, working independently and as part of a team
Payroll AssistantFull time, 12 months maternity cover

We are seeking someone with payroll processing experience to join our team in a full-time position. If you live in Fife and have at least one year’s payroll experience covering processing and compliance, including auto-enrolment pensions, particularly in Sage Payroll, we would like to hear from you. The post is for 12 months’ maternity cover but may be made permanent for the right candidate.
