Paterson Boyd & Co is a firm of chartered certified accountants with offices in Glenrothes and Leven in Fife.
Our story
From two partners in the centre of Leven to two offices across Fife.
The partnership was established in the late 1960s with two partners and an office in the centre of Leven. The firm has since grown to two offices, in Leven and Glenrothes, with a team of directors and staff.
We have delivered accountancy and taxation services to the local community since the beginning, and in recent years have widened our client base to cover Fife and beyond, while expanding the range of accountancy related services we offer.
We are dedicated to providing personal, tailored services and pride ourselves on our detailed knowledge of our clients’ needs. We aim to respond to every query efficiently and accurately, and to use our technical expertise to help clients get the most from their businesses.
We recognise how important our staff are in serving our clients well, and we strongly believe in training them so they can meet the challenges they face every day.
Registered auditors
Our dedicated audit company, PB Audit Limited, is registered by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland to carry out audit work in the UK. Registration details can be viewed at auditregister.org.uk under reference 4575.
Specialists on hand
The firm has tax and VAT specialists who can be called in for particularly complex cases, and is a member of the CA Practitioner Service, giving access to specialist advice when required.

You are assigned a director
All of our directors are qualified accountants who have worked in the local area for over 20 years, with considerable insight into the local business environment. They are all Fife based, approachable, down to earth individuals with a genuine wish to help you succeed.

We meet face to face
We like to meet our clients face to face as much as possible. The first visit is normally a meeting at our Leven or Glenrothes office, or at your place of business, so we can get to know you and work out a package of services that suits your needs.

We understand the financial pressures of running a business in challenging economic times, so we try to charge realistic fees, agreed with you up front, to avoid any surprises.
